Dr. Arunachalam Ramachandran
, a renowned physiotherapist and Professor from Madhav University, is celebrated for his innovations in neuro-rehabilitation and pain science. With over 94 international research publications, he has advanced care in stroke recovery, musculoskeletal dysfunction, and chronic pain. He holds two patents in Pain Neuroscience Education (PNE), focusing on cognitive-behavioral reconditioning and virtual reality-based desensitization. He is also the creator of the “Trunk Dissociation Retrainer” and PARAM (Pain Apprehension Reactivation of Movement)—a novel intervention for chronic pain. His work bridges clinical insight with research, empowering patients through education, movement, and non-pharmacological pain relief.

Senior Consultant with expertise in Orthopaedics and Traumatology, serving our clinic for the past decade. With 11 years of rich clinical Experience, he is our primary consultant at Iyyapanthangal.
Dr. Rakesh is also an Assistant Professor at Saveetha College of Physiotherapy. He completed his Ph.D. in Physiotherapy with an innovative research on Virtual Reality.
